A snack is being recalled from retailers across the country because of rubber contamination.
Snackbrands Australia has pulled Chickadees Multipack 6x19g (114g) with best before dates of August 1, 8 and 12, 2026, and 190g packets with a best before of August 15, 2026.
Smaller 45g and 90g packets with a best before of December 12, 2026 also fall under the recall.

The products have been sold at Woolworth, Coles IGA and convenience stories across Australia, as well as online.
An alert from Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) said it was triggered by the presence of rubber, which can cause illness or injury if consumed.
“Consumers should not eat this product,” FSANZ said.
“Consumers should return the product(s) to the place of purchase for a full refund.”
Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
