Fans at the MCG claim they were throwing up before Collingwood’s clash with Brisbane due to a serious sewerage leak in the MCC bathrooms.

“There appears to be a serious sewerage leak in the MCC – just near the bullring bar,” McGuire said. “Staff are scrambling and a foul smell is spreading right throughout the downstairs area and into level one.
“Patrons claiming they threw up from the smell.”
The MCC later confirmed there was a pipe issue in the level one bathrooms.
The issue was resolved just over half an hour before the first bounce.
Brisbane got out to a fast start when the game got underway, with Logan Morris booting four first-half goals.
Collingwood champion Scott Pendlebury looked dangerous early before being ruled out for the remainder of the game with a knee bursa.
It’s the second consecutive MCG clash with Brisbane, after last year’s preliminary final, where Pendlebury has gone off with injury early in the game.
In the penultimate week of last year’s finals series, Pendlebury lasted just minutes before going off with a calf injury.
The Lions won that clash by 29 points before going on to win the premiership the following week in an imperious performance against Geelong.
Brisbane and Collingwood met again on Easter Thursday earlier this year at the Gabba, with the Lions winning by 54 points.
